In the crowded market place of cue holders, this one manages to be unique. It is versatile, portable…..and can hold a whole roll of quarters! If you play on coin-op tables and are tired of having a pocket full of quarters, having to dig quarters out of the bottom of your cue case, carrying a separate quarter holder, or having your quarters dumped out all over the table, this cue holder might just be the accessory you are looking for!
Read on for a more detailed look and our comprehensive review of this cue holder.
The V Rack Cue / Quarter Holder
The main body of the cue holder holds an entire roll of quarters. The arms of the cue holder, when fully extended can hold 5 cues comfortably and securely. The unit itself is made of a lightweight, durable plastic. It measures 5 1/2 inches long with the arms being about 7 inches wide when fully extended.
Versatility of the cue holder
The arms of the cue holder hinge to allow them to be positioned to accommodate just about any kind of table.
In the images below, you will see that by hinging the arms, this cue holder literally hugs the surface of just about any table, holding the cues comfortably and securely.

Gripping the table surface
The underside of the cue holder is affixed with a rubber material that grips the table exceptionally well. Without quarters in the unit, it is extremely light at 4 ounces. I was surprised that even at that light a weight, the rubber grip held tight to the table and I had no concern of the cue holder slipping off the table, even with a full load of cues. The rubber material also seems to protect the table surface well and I had no concern of the cue holder marking or scratching the surface of the table.
Holding your quarters
The built in quarter dispenser makes this cue holder unique & differentiates it from others in the market. It has a spring loaded design for easy loading and dispensing of quarters. Conveniently, the quarters can be loaded into the holder in advance and it holds quite well. You need not be concerned with quarters falling out of the cue holder when stored or transported in your cue case.
In your cue case
When the arms are folded, it will fit in a pocket in your cue case. It is a bit bulky, given the dimensions are sized to fit a roll of quarters. It is going to take up just about all the room in a medium sized pocket.
In summary
The cue holder market is an extremely crowded one. There are low end holders and high end holders. I find this one right in the middle in terms of price point, quality and production materials. The plastic construction is one reason why this product did not get a 5 star rating. The other is the fact that some players may not want to spend this kind of money on a cue holder, given other options available, I also think switching the hinge screws to a low profile Allen wrench type design would give it a sleeker appearance.
There are competing products in the market with similar features, with one exception – The real differentiating factor in this cue holder is the built in coin holder. If you are a player that plays on coin-op tables, I definitely recommend this cue holder. It’s well made, innovative and super convenient having your quarters built into the unit. If you are a player who typically does not play on coin-op tables, it is still a very good cue holder and it may be worth your consideration regardless & may be an accessory worth having in the event you find yourself playing on a coin-op table.
One other extremely noteworthy and compelling aspect about this product is that it is made in the USA, which makes this product definitely worth supporting in my book.
